OFFICIAL RULES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

1. Timing: The Pep Boys Ready! Set! Road Trip! Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") begins on July 8, 2025 at 12:00:01 A.M. Eastern Time ("ET") and ends at 11:59:59 P.M. ET on September 2, 2025 (the “Promotion Period”). The Promotion Period shall consist of eight (8) individual entry periods (each, an “Entry Period” and collectively, the “Entry Periods”) wherein one (1) Second Prize, three (3) Third Prizes and five (5) Fourth Prizes will be awarded in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received as of the end of each Entry Period. Non-winning Entry Period entries WILL roll over to subsequent Entry Period drawings, if any. Each Entry Period ends each Monday of the Promotion Period at 11:59:59 P.M. ET (except for the final Entry Period which will end at the conclusion of the Promotion Period). Additionally, at the conclusion of the Promotion Period, one (1) Grand Prize winner will be randomly selected from among all eligible entries received throughout the Promotion Period. The Pep Boys – Manny, Moe & Jack LLC’s, (“Sponsor”), computer will be the official timekeeping device for this Sweepstakes.

2. Eligibility: Open to legal residents of the contiguous United States (including the District of Columbia, but excluding Alaska and Hawaii) and Puerto Rico who are at least eighteen (18) years of age and the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence (19 in Alabama and Nebraska, 21 in Mississippi, 18 in all other states) at time of entry. Void in Alaska, Hawaii and all other U.S. Territories and Possessions and where prohibited by law. Employees (including immediate family members [spouse, parents, siblings and children] and those living in the same household of each such employee) of Sponsor, Marketing Visions, Inc. (“Administrator”), their parents, affiliates and subsidiaries, participating advertising and promotion agencies, and prize suppliers are not eligible. Subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Participation constitutes entrant's full and unconditional agreement to these Official Rules and Sponsor’s and Administrator's decisions, which are final and binding in all matters related to this Sweepstakes. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein.

3. How To Enter: During the Promotion Period, access the Internet from a computer or smartphone, go to pepboys.com (the “Website”) locate the Sweepstakes icon (“Icon”) and click on it. The Icon is a link to the Sweepstakes entry form. Follow the on-screen instructions and complete the entry form in its entirety, then click on the “Submit” button to receive one (1) entry into the Entry Period drawing corresponding to your date of entry and all subsequent Entry Period drawings and the Grand Prize drawing[SB1] . Links and/or the URL to the Sweepstakes entry form may also be provided in Pep Boys emails, social media posts, online advertising, and printed marketing materials.

Standard data charges may apply to Smartphone entry, check your service plan for details. At the time of registration, entrants, at their option and discretion, may elect to “opt-out” to not receive future marketing and promotional communications from Sponsor via email. Choosing to “opt-out” or “opt-in” will not affect entrants’ chances of winning.[SB2]

You may enter a maximum of one (1) time per day during the Promotion Period. For purposes of these Official Rules, a ‘day’ is defined as any twenty-four (24) hour period during the Promotion Period beginning at 12:00:01 a.m. ET and ending twenty-four (24) hours later at 11:59:59 p.m. ET. Any attempt by any entrant to obtain more than one (1) Sweepstakes entry per day by using multiple/different email addresses, identities, registrations, Smartphones, logins or any other methods will void that participant's Sweepstakes entries and that participant may be disqualified. Multiple entrants are not permitted to share the same email address. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. In the event of a dispute as to any registration, the authorized account holder of the email address used to register will be deemed to be the registrant as long as such person is otherwise eligible in accordance with these Official Rules. The "authorized account holder" is the natural person assigned an email address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted address. Potential winners may be required to show proof of being the authorized account holder. Normal Internet access and usage charges imposed by your Internet service provider will apply.

4. Random Drawings: At the conclusion of each Entry Period, one (1) potential second, three (3) potential third, and five (5) potential fourth place prize winners will be selected from among all eligible entries received as of the conclusion of the corresponding Entry Period. On or about September 5, 2025, one (1) potential Grand Prize winner will be selected from among all eligible entries received throughout the Promotion Period. Each Entry Period prize winner may win a maximum of one (1) Entry Period prize during the Promotion Period, but remains eligible to win the Grand Prize. The Drawings will be conducted under the direction of Administrator, whose decisions are final in all matters relating to the Sweepstakes. The potential prize winners will be notified by email and/or phone within three (3) days after the drawing is held. The odds of winning a prize depend on the total number of eligible entries received as of the end of the corresponding Entry Period or Promotion Period, as applicable.

Potential Entry Period prize winners may be required to, and the potential Grand Prize winner must, properly complete, sign (and, in the case of the Grand Prize winner, have notarized) and return to Administrator, within five (5) business days of the date notice is sent, an affidavit of eligibility and liability release and (where imposing such condition is legal) a publicity release, as well as, for the potential Grand Prize winner only, a W-9 IRS tax form (collectively, the “Prize Claim Documents”) in order to have the opportunity to receive a prize. If a potential prize winner cannot be contacted or fails to sign and return the Prize Claim Documents within the required time period, then such potential prize winner may be disqualified and/or otherwise forfeit their opportunity to receive a prize. In the event that a potential prize winner is disqualified for any reason, there will be three (3) alternate drawings following the procedure stated above, after which the prize in question will remain unawarded if it remains unclaimed. Prize will be awarded to the person whose name is on the entry.

5. Prizes: There are seventy-three (73) prizes available to be won in this Sweepstakes consisting of one (1) Grand Prize, eight (8) Second Prizes, twenty-four (24) Third Prizes, and forty (40) Fourth Prizes.

5a. Grand Prize: One (1) Grand Prize is available consisting of a custom five (5) day/four (4) night road trip for the winner and up to three (3) travel companions. Prize consists of a combination of lodging, rental car (if needed), gas, tolls, meals, and spending money (total cost of all items combined not to exceed $4,900) as determined between Sponsor and Grand Prize winner. [SB3] Grand Prize winner will work with representative of Sponsor to determine exact components of road trip required and how various portions of the Grand Prize are awarded. In addition, the Grand Prize winner will receive a travel-themed gift and a free one-year premium subscription to Road Trippers app. Approximate retail value (“ARV”): $5,030.

Winner and travel companions are solely responsible for any and all costs above the $4,900 value of items covered in the Grand Prize that may be incurred or arise as a result of being awarded the prize. Such costs may include, but are not limited to, all federal, state, local, or other government taxes (including income taxes) and fees, travel insurance, and items of a personal nature (e.g., gratuities, alcoholic beverages, photographs, souvenirs, entertainment, service fees, medical services, etc.). Unused components of the prize have no redeemable cash value, and no compensation or substitution will be made.

Car rental portion of Grand Prize is subject to winner (and/or their guest) qualifying for the use of the rental car according to the terms and conditions of the designated rental car company. In the event a winner (and/or their guest) does not qualify for use of rental car, Sponsor reserves the right to provide alternate ground transportation at Sponsor's sole discretion and within the Grand Prize budget.

In the event prize winner and/or their travel companion(s) engage(s) in behavior that (as determined by Sponsor or its designee in their sole and absolute discretion) is obnoxious or threatening, illegal, or that is intended to annoy, abuse, intimidate, threaten or harass any other person, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the trip or other applicable experience early, in whole or in part, and send winner and/or their travel companion(s) home with no further compensation and any element of the prize, if any, still remaining will be immediately forfeited. Winner and companions are responsible for all travel documents (such as a valid photo ID, driver’s license, passport, etc.) required for travel. If any travel companion is under twenty-one (21) years of age, winner must be the travel companion's parent/legal guardian. Except where prohibited by applicable law, travel companions may have to provide proof of eligibility and may be required to sign a liability and publicity release prior to traveling. If a prize winner or any travel companion makes any false statements in any document referenced herein, such winner or travel companion will be required to promptly return to Sponsor upon demand the prize or cash equivalent of the prize won. No assignment, transfer, refund or substitution of prize, in whole or in part, is permitted, except that Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value at its sole discretion if the prize offered becomes unavailable for any reason. Winner will be issued a 1099 tax form for the actual retail value of the prize following the date prize is awarded.

Prize winner and their travel companions irrevocably waive all claims against the “Released Parties” (as defined below) and agree that the Released Parties will have no liability or responsibility for any claim arising in connection with participation in this Sweepstakes, the prize elements awarded, personal injury, or wrongful death, a potentially heightened risk of exposure to communicable diseases, viruses, bacteria or illnesses (including, without limitation, COVID-19) and the causes thereof, and sickness arising as a result of a winner participating in the Sweepstakes and related activities, wherever, whenever or however the same may occur.

5b. Second Prizes: Eight (8) second prizes are available, each consisting of a $500 Pep Boys Gift Card. ARV $500 per prize. Gift card is subject to separate terms and conditions imposed by issuer and does not have an expiration date.

5c. Third Prizes: Twenty-four (24) third prizes are available, each consisting of a free oil change at any Pep Boys service facility. Each third prize will be awarded in the form of a $100 Pep Boys Gift Card. ARV $100 per prize. Gift card is subject to separate terms and conditions imposed by issuer and does not have an expiration date.

5d. Fourth Prizes: Forty (40) fourth prizes are available, each Pep Boys swag. ARV $30 per prize.

TOTAL MAXIMUM VALUE OF ALL PRIZES AVAILABLE TO BE WON: $12,630.

7. Release: By participating in the Sweepstakes and/or receiving a prize, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, Administrator, and each of their respective subsidiaries, affiliates, suppliers, distributors, licensors, advertising and promotion agencies, and prize suppliers, and each of their respective parent companies and each such company's officers, directors, employees and agents (collectively, the "Released Parties") from and against any claim or cause of action, including, but not limited to, personal injury, death, or damage to or loss of property, arising out of participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of the prize.

8. Publicity: Except where such condition is legally prohibited, by participating in the Sweepstakes and accepting the Prize, a verified winner hereby agrees and grants the Sponsor and its designees the right, but not the obligation, to the use of winner's name, voice, likeness, photograph, and opinions along with their address (city and state) and any statements made by or attributed to such winner in any and all media, now known or hereafter devised, without notice, review or approval, in perpetuity and throughout the universe for advertising and promotional purposes in connection with the Sweepstakes and other promotions without further compensation, and releases the Sponsor and its designees from any liability with respect thereto.

9. Limitations of Liability:The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes; (2) technical failures of any kind, including, but not limited to malfunctions, interruptions, or disconnections in phone lines or network hardware or software; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process of the Sweepstakes; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the Sweepstakes or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant's participation in the Sweepstakes or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. If for any reason an entrant's entry is confirmed to have been erroneously deleted, lost, or otherwise destroyed or corrupted, entrant's sole remedy is another entry in the Sweepstakes, provided that if it is not possible to award another entry due to discontinuance of the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, for any reason, Sponsor, at its discretion, may elect to hold a random drawing from among all eligible entries received up to the date of discontinuance for any or all of the prizes offered herein.

10. General Conditions: Sponsor is not responsible for entries that are not received for any reason, including any computer, online, and/or human error, technical malfunctions, lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible or misdirected entries. Use of any automated system to participate is prohibited and will result in disqualification. Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY A PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS SWEEPSTAKES IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify this Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures (whether due to infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud), or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of Sponsor which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes. [SB4] If Sponsor terminates this sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right to conduct a random drawing to award the remaining prizes from among all eligible entries received as of the termination date. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on‑line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of any entry to be received by Sponsor on account of technical problems, human error, or any combination thereof.

11. Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that: (1) any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering this Sweepstakes, but in no event attorneys' fees; and (3) under no circumstances will entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, indirect, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes, shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, U.S.A. without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Entrants expressly agree that any legal proceedings arising out of or relating in any way to this Sweepstakes or these Official Rules shall be brought only in the federal or state courts located in Philadelphia County, Pennsylvania, and consent to the mandatory and exclusive jurisdiction in such courts with respect to any such legal proceedings. In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between any terms or conditions of these Official Rules and any disclosures or other statements contained in any other Sweepstakes-related materials, including but not limited to the Sweepstakes entry forms, or point of sale, television, print, mobile or online advertising, the terms and conditions of these Official Rules shall prevail, govern and control. If any provision of these Official Rules is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, these Official Rules shall otherwise remain in effect and be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein.

12. Entrant's Personal Information: Information collected from entrants is subject to Sponsor's Privacy Policy, which is found at https://www.pepboys.com/customer_care/policies/privacy and which may be updated from time to time.

13. Winners List: For Sweepstakes results (available after September 15, 2025) and/or a copy of these Official Rules, send a hand-printed, self-addressed, stamped envelope to: Pep Boys Ready! Set! Road Trip! Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 693, Ardsley, NY 10502. Requests must be received by October 31, 2025. Official Rules may also be viewed at pepboys.com.
